Kimber is a writer of young adult books and a reader of everything. A former producer, she won a New England Emmy Award with the magazine-style television series Styleboston and a Telly Award for a full-length inspirational documentary. As a television host, she explored New England ski resorts for The Mountain Report on NBC Sports Boston. She is now the chief marketing officer for a Boston-based information publishing company.
She lives in New Hampshire with her border collie, eleven chickens, and her husband Ryan, who is an adaptive athlete and advocate for spinal cord injury awareness.
